Insurance Payment by Phone

You can now make renewal premium payments in a matter of minutes. And it does not even matter where you are.

In order to help you transact conveniently, we have now introduced a facility which helps you pay your renewal premiums over the phone. All you need to do is call our toll-free number
1800 209 9090, and our Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system will guide you through the rest.


Follow these simple steps.


     1. Call the toll free 1800 209 9090
     2. Select your language (English or Hindi)
     3. Go to IVR payment option
     4. Enter your policy number
     5. Enter your Date of birth
     6. Enter the card details *


In case of an error in the transaction, or in case you make a mistake while providing information, the call will be routed to our customer care executive. The executive will then guide you through the payment process.

Extra protection for your IVR transactions

While paying your policy premium using your credit card through the Interactive Voice Response (IVR) System on 1800 209 9090, you expect complete security and convenience. These IVR transactions will need to be authenticated with an additional password - OTAP (One-time Authentication Pin) which will be issued by your bank. Starting 1st February 2011, this is mandatory as per the RBI guidelines.


Getting an OTAP

  • The OTAP is a temporary number.

  • Your bank will have informed you of the most suitable ways in which you can obtain it.


Validity of OTAP

  • The OTAP is a one-time use password for a single transaction, valid for a short period varying from 30 minutes to 120 minutes, as decided by your bank.


Using OTAP for AEGON Religare transactions

Follow these simple steps to ensure that you transact easily on our IVR using your credit card:

Step 1: Get the OTAP generated from your bank
Step 2: Call our toll free number 1800 209 9090
Step 3: Key in the OTAP along with other card details such as card number, expiry date and CVV            number.


To enjoy a secure and convenient IVR transaction and avoid any delays, make sure you have your OTAP generated by your bank prior to every transaction!
